Meet Dana

Hello!  My name is Dana and I love cake. And cookies. And all food really. I’m a thirty-something food lover who has travelled extensively and lived in various corners of the earth.  I recently left Paris to move to Singapore with my new hubby who has been a real McGyver helping me set-up a well-equipped kitchen. I’m a life-loving, list-making, passionate Virgo currently suffering from insatiable wanderlust and a massive sweet tooth (which I have to satisfy somehow now that the beautiful patisseries of Paris are behind me sniff sniff).

Lost in Cake is a food + travel blog dedicated to documenting my adventures in the kitchen and around the world.  Although an absolute foodie and obsessed with food styling, I will modestly reconfirm that I am a novice in the kitchen and with the camera and spent the most part of my year and a half in Paris eating out. My new wifely duties (haha) and a well-timed sabbatical have forced me to explore this untapped curiosity for cooking and I am absolutely loving it.

Of-course my inborn wanderlust means you will also read about all my travel adventures around Asia and hopefully beyond! I hope my City Guides will make for enjoyable reads and will be useful as and when you plan your trips to Asia.
